What's the diff between the DJs of the 80's and 90's to the DJs of today? Back when I was with WXB102 together with JJ Michaels and the late Magic (Mark Fournier), our wave parties had only one DJ. No, he wasn't one of us. He wasn't a radio DJ but a club DJ. Well, back then , I don't think he worked for any club because as far as I know, he didn't do it for the money. He did it because he simply loved mixing and he really loved the music. New wave music! And how did I know he didn't do it for the money? We never paid him a cent! Seriously! We didn't even plug his name on air. He was just there when we needed him. And even way back in the 80's, let me tell you this, he was one heck of a DJ! Definitely one of the best DJs the Philippines has ever produced. When it comes to mixing, this guy is on top of my list! Guess who?
So what's the difference between the DJs now and back then? Hahahahahaha.....man, you tell me!
